These hand made leads by Found My Animal are made from marine-grade rope and hardware.  They are hand-spliced to withstand hundreds of pounds of pull.  The ends are "whipped" (a nautical term) for additional durability.

Solid brass lockable carabiners are attached to the ends for additional safety.
